I posted my 2D animation onto Padlet and gave the link to several of my peers for them to review and give me feedback on how my animation where my animation was successful and where it was less successful.
I think that the animation produced was overall good but definitely had some areas for improvement. I ran into several issues during the production process, one such problem being that the animation moved too slowly, this was because I had moved the different characters too little and too far each time, to fix this problem however I simply raised the frame rate in premiere pro. I also ran into an issue with the size of the actual animation, to fix this I edited the size of the animation in premiere pro and made it so that it took up more of the screen, however I was not able to correctly size the animation sot hat it used all of the space which meant that there was some empty space on the screen.
I responded to the feedback given by carefully examining what people had said about my animation and what could be improved. i took this information on board for future projects so that I could learn from my mistakes and possibly even improve my existing animation. The information given was very useful as it helped e identify what had not done so well during the production of my animation and where my talents lie. I think that the feedback given was well thought out and pinpoints the faults in my animation. I am happy with the feedback because it confirms that there are not a lot of issues with my animation, the feedback given also explains how to improve upon the flaws in my animation.
Based on the feedback given for my animation, I know that I can improve my animation in various ways. This is because the feedback given told me what could be improved.
Here is the feedback I recieved for my 2D animation, because of this feedback I know what I did wrong in my animation and what could have been done better. By reading the feedback left by my peers I know that one possible way I could have improved my animation would be to add the score system to animation from the actual pacman game and have the score go up as it would in the actual game. I could have included the power up sequence from the game when pacman eats one of the larger pills which turns the ghosts blue and then pacman eats them. I could also have included the death animation when pacman gets caught by a ghost. The final imrpovement I could have made based on the feedback i recieved would be to change the frame size of the animation so that it uses the whole screen instead of a small section of it.
Due to time constraints I will not be implementing the improvements to my production detailed in the feedback I recieved, had I more time I would certainly add them into my animation however most of these improvements would take considerable time to implement that I do not have at the current time.
